A New Era of GWF Greatness is upon us so strap in! We're coming at you with not one, not two, but THREE huge announcements!
First off, we've released exclusive card art for the controversial new character called THE GUARDIAN. He's an entity from a higher plane of existence and he's entering the physical realm as a being of light. THE GUARDIAN is coming to the GWF to warn about the impending phenomenon called BLACK DEATH. The first hints of BLACK DEATH are described in COUNCIL OF WAR 2126.
THE GUARDIAN'S Limited Edition playing card will break new ground and is set for release on October 22. Speaking of breaking new ground, October 22 will mark "CotG CONquers the Galaxy" Day! On this day there will be several CotG mini-conventions throughout the United States and possibly Canada. The focal point will be GalactiCal, which takes place at Emerald Knights Comics and Games in Burbank, California with game creator Tom Filsinger as the special guest. Other mini-cons have been confirmed in Detroit, Omaha, and New Jersey with more possibly coming! All the cons will be connected via computer networking for an incredible "CotG CONquers the Galaxy" event!
THE GUARDIAN will be released on October 22 for fans attending these conventions. The card will begin mailing several days later to non attendees. THE GUARDIAN playing card is so special it will come with a flyer with character bio and alternate card art by Darryl Banks. This is big!
If that's not enough big news here's more---BLACK DEATH 2127 WILL BE RELEASED IN DECEMBER, a full six months ahead of our usual schedule! It'll be a Black Christmas, you can count on that!

The celebration is on! We first released Champions of the Galaxy in the summer of 1986 and it's time to celebrate 25 years of success in style!
The official celebration and party will take place at GalactiCon 2011 in Jamestown, New York on July 8-10. Not only will we be releasing our latest game expansion, COUNCIL OF WAR 2126, but also coming in July will be collectible 25th anniversary playing cards for GWF originals like BRUTE, MASSACRE, STAR WARRIOR, THANTOS, LORD NEXUS, and INVINCIBLE KRAKAN! The final stats are in for 2010 and profits were up 25% compared with 2009! In fact the last three years are in the top five in total sales in our 25-year history, so there might be a recession somewhere but not here at Federation HQ!
Chalk up our continued growth to the exciting new color cards for Champions of the Galaxy as well as the launch of LEGENDSonline. And if you think that's exciting wait'll you see the great stuff coming in 2011 including an all-CHIKARA full-color game edition as part of our Legends of Wrestling series!
Some other interesting facts about 2010: Total sales for Champions of the Galaxy exceeded Legends of Wrestling (54% to 46%), table-top sales exceeded online sales (68% to 32%). CLINCH and SHOOT were top MMA-style champions in the Trifid Nebula but have departed because of high rates of rule-breaking and disqualifications. They'll find a good home in the GWF!

Sly Drury is continuing to assemble an incredible new team he calls ROGUE'S GALLERY. This new team is populated by "legends" of the GWF including BISHOP HELL.
