Make no mistake about it. TAURAN has problems coming up in MARTIAL LAW 2123. And we won't get to them now, but just one, and his name is PATCH!

TAURAN will be wrestling with some inner demons, but he's got an "outer demon" to deal with also! He comes by the name of PATCH...and he's going to make TAURAN'S life miserable!

PATCH has been recruited by Sly Drury to join forces with Outlaw Nation on the eve of Endgame's Crusade to "cleanse" the GWF! And (as you can tell by the drawing) there's no way PATCH is going to take anything from anybody!

PATCH'S left eye is in shadows in his card drawing. Be thankful. The story of PATCH'S eye is too horrible to contemplate (it's missing), but it speaks volumes for his self-confidence (or is "sickness" a better word?) that he absolutely refuses to wear an eyepatch in public.

Information on the new aCe: all-Centra entertainment set & 'Insert Game Editions' !

aCe: all-Centra entertainment foundation set

Since this 'New Beginning type' aCe set will be act as the foundation for what will be smaller, more frequent 'Insert Game Editions,' it is essential to purchase first if you plan on playing an aCe federation. This foundation set available through COTGonline will include a character description booklet plus every current digital character card, old and new, giving you EVERYTHING you need to run a complete aCe federation.

As usual, this COTGonline set will also include a 4-card-per-page PDF file so you can print out your cards if you like. This PDF will include a character description booklet plus every current aCe character card, old and new, giving you EVERYTHING you need to run a complete aCe federation. (This PDF file will be available as a seperate purchase for those who don't subsribe to COTGonline)

In total, aCe: all-Centra entertainment includes digital AND printable versions of 33 cards (22 'tweaked' cards and 11 brand new cards)

"Insert Game Editions" concept

Beginning in 2009, the aCe game system will only be updated through 'Insert Game Editions.' These Insert Editions will be priced at the rate of $1 per new card. Meaning if the 'Insert Game Edition' includes 5 new cards, it will be priced at $5. IN ADDITION to these new cards, there will be also be an equal number of older cards included with 'tweaked' stats to reflect COTGonline's Character Progression system, AS WELL AS an updated version of the aCe character description booklet, adding even more value to each 'Insert Edition.'

All 'Insert Game Editions' will follow the usual COTGonline model of including digital as well as printable versions of cards and booklets. Our plan is to release around the same amount of cards that would normally appear in a regular game edition (10-14 cards), but instead of all at once in one edition, over the course of the year. There will most likely be 2-3 'Insert Game Editions' in 2009, each consisting of approximately 4-6 cards each (plus 'tweaked' cards, plus updated booklet).

This plan is a bold new step in adding a sense of realism to the COTG universe. The great thing about these updates is that they will not be creatively constricting. You can purchase these Insert Editions at your leisure, just as you would any normal game edition. But, if you're a frequent player, there will always be an official aCe game release right around the corner, keeping your federation more realistic and exciting than ever before!


aCe: all-Centra entertainment will be available for purchase on Thursday, April 17th!

CREATE A MATCH/CHART CONTEST!

Later this year Filsinger Games will be releasing a collection of special matches and charts entitled The Ringside Companion Anthology.  This new publication will have all the matches and special charts released in previous versions of the Ringside Companion, with some of the matches being tinkered with to make them work better for today's wrestling style.  In addition we will be adding some classic special matches that were included in the pages of the GWF Promoter and the legendary Club Galactica Super Report.  Also we will feature some brand new matches and charts, and thats where you come in.

We are looking to the creativity of our promoters to add to the rich collection of matches already available.  Here's all you need to know to be part of this historic endeavor:

1. Matches must be able to use only 6 sided dice.
2. Back story for the match is encouraged, however the back story must tie to an official COTG character (Genesis, Early Classics and Promoter Madness characters are OK too).
3. Reworking of classic COTG matches and charts is allowed.
4. A panel will judge the entries and select which ones it wants to include. No minimum or maximum promised, but we are looking for about 5 in total.
5. If selected, your name will be printed in the booklet alongside your match.
6. The deadline for submissions is Monday April 14, 2008 (extended from the GWF Promoter announcement).
7. All submissions become property of Filsinger Games.

There's more! After 10 years we have decided to go back and update our ADVANCED GAME CHARTS, so they better fit the current wrestling style. SABOTEUR TO RETURN TO CPC IN 2122!

He's back!

It's been three long years, but finally, Saboteur is ready for his return to the CPC to finish the war he began with his former partner Shylock. Many years ago, Shylock accidentally killed Saboteur's younger brother in the ring, and for years after that Saboteur plotted to take Shylock down while posing as Shylock's confidant, not revealing his true identity to his partner. He almost succeeded in injuring Shylock permanently in 2115, but all he wound up doing was igniting a war that blazed for a time but has only been smoldering for a while. Until now!

Saboteur has been working behind the scenes this entire time with someone currently in the CPC. But that's not all. Recently he's recruited another CPC personality to his cause, as well. And if that weren't enough, there's even a former GWF manager caught up in the middle of the plot! Who are we talking about? And can Shylock stop them? You'll be amazed when you see the outcome with the release of a CPC set so phenomenal, the name is being kept top secret until the next issue of GWF Promoter newsletter reaches subscribers!
