FILSINGER GAMES
WRITER PROFILE:

KRIS OSK

Like Mark Ashby, Kris began as a game fan and wound up becoming a writer for Champions of the Galaxy. His first professional effort was on a graphic novel entitled, COTG: Genesis, an Alternative Universe title that told the secret story of the early days of the GWF.

Tom asked Kris to help him write and produce a spin-off game edition about a wrestling federation in another dimension (Centra) following the developments in the GWF in New Beginning 2119. The first Centra edition was released a year later and called aCe 2119: Battle for Centra, featuring Kris as the main writer and Tom as co-creator and editor. Kris also wrote the second and third edition in the series titled aCe 2120: Reinforcement and aCe 2121: Ultimatum respectively.

The aCe editions are the most experimental of all the Champions of the Galaxy games. "Why do all the game editions the same way?" says Tom. "The aCe series allows us to try new card rules and to stretch the boundaries of the sci-fi elements of the game." All of these goals fit the bold creative style of Kris Osk and Tom is pleased to work with him in pushing the envelope to the outer limits.

The aCe has grown a solid fan base over the past few years since it's inception, largely in part to the always creative characters and concepts designed by Kris. Most recent game editions include aCe:all-Centra entertainment and aCe:Dark Tides

Kris is currently living in Baltimore, Maryland.
